Will the exhibition be open for how long?

From June 11th to September 23th, 2018.

What is the purpose of the exhibition?

The purpose of ANIMAL INSIDE OUT is to inspire a deeper appreciation and respect for the animal world. The exhibition will allow visitors the unique opportunity to explore the intricate biology and physiology of some of the world’s most spectacular creatures, using the amazing science of Plastination. A visit to ANIMAL INSIDE OUT will go beyond what is seen in zoos, aquariums and animal parks. Visitors will be better able to understand the inner workings of animals and compare them to human anatomy, resulting in a new understanding of the amazing beauty of both animals and humans.

Are children under 3 admitted to the exhibition?

Yes, but they will have to be accompanied by adults.

Should children be accompanied by an adult during the visit?

Yes.

Can a Family Ticket be used for 2 adults and 2 children?

Yes, the Family Ticket allows 2 adults and a maximum of 3 children (up to and including 11 years old).

How can I pay for my tickets?

Payment at the box office can be done in cash or credit/debit card.

Can I buy tickets at the ticket office of the exhibition only on the same day or in advance?

You can buy tickets for any date.

Are there other places to buy tickets?

Tickets are also on sale on Blueticket’s website and at the usual locations (Fnac, Worten, etc.).

Do I need to select a specific day and time in advance?

It is not necessary. Tickets do not have day and time marking and are valid for a single entry into the exhibition.

What if I have problems buying my ticket on the website or on the Blueticket network?

How long will I need to fully appreciate the exhibition?

This comprehensive exhibition includes detailed information on the specimens shown and further explorations of the animal kingdom. Average duration of a visit to ANIMAL INSIDE OUT is one hour. Guests are welcome to remain in the exhibition as long as they wish, within opening hours.

Are there wheelchairs available?

The exhibition offers a free wheelchair. Just ask for it at the box office and present your ID as a deposit.

Does the exhibition have accessibility for users of wheelchairs and other persons with reduced mobility?

Yes, there are no obstacles in the exhibition, on the site and in the surrounding area.

Where can I park?

There is a car park near the entrance of the exhibition. There are also other parks in the immediate vicinity, as well as street parking.

Are bags allowed inside the exhibition?

Backpacks, big bags, umbrellas, etc. are not allowed inside the exhibition.

Is there an area reserved for eating/drinking?

In the exhibition hall, there is a catering area (vending machines).

Is it allowed to eat/drink inside the exhibition?

No, it’s not allowed.

Can I bring my pet?

Pets are not allowed on display. That’s why we thank you for leaving them at home. Assistance dogs are, of course, allowed.

Can I take photographs or film in the exhibitions?

As fotografias e as filmagens profissionais na exposição estão limitadas aos meios de comunicação social registados, destinando-se apenas a fins editoriais. Alguns locais permitem fotografias com pequenos dispositivos portáteis para uso pessoal e não comercial. Por favor, confirme no local que que está a visitar se a fotografia é permitida. Por respeito a outros visitantes, as fotografias podem ser restringidas a qualquer momento.

If I lose an object in the exhibition, what should I do?

The exhibition is not responsible for the loss or deterioration of objects in the enclosure. Any object found will be delivered at the ticket office to anyone who proves to be yours.
If you miss something during your visit, send an email to reservas@animalinsideout.ptindicating what he lost, where and when. If this object is found by our team, we will contact you. If you prefer, you can go to the exhibition site yourself.
